Counties Manukau Sporting Excellence Awards 2006

Some 30 ITFNZ members family and friends attended the 2007 Counties Manukau Sporting Awards on Thursday 29 Nov. With guest All Black Ali Williams, and finalists like Valerie Vili, Ruben Wiki, Dillon Boucher, this was a high profile event.

And who took Sportsman of the Year...

ITFNZ folk went up on the stage for 12 finalist spots last night, compared with 1/2 that number for much larger and higher profile sports. That only happens due to *weeks* of long nights by Sue creating the comprehensive nomination presentations that persuade the selection panel to choose our people!  )

Our other finalists were:
Manukau Courier Top Team of the Year - CM Regional Team
NZ Community Trust Masters Award - Paul McPhail, Steve Pellow
